Black currant leaves for tea, enjoyed hot or cold and for flavoring pickles.
Traditionally used for for many ailments and tastes great.
This one goes down in history for me as I was drinking a lot of this tea when I became pregnant with Robin. Her father frequently made tea extolling its virtues of being mineral rich and so good for your overall health it was a fertility tonic. Was this a Freudian slip, was it just because it was abundant where we hung out, was that me reading between the lines... alas whatever the heck was going on we were blessed with Robin in our lives.
Just drinking a mug of fresh leaves now and am blown away by the taste, how is this not more common?
