So I looked at yogi teas, and I thought, hmmm we could do that but with more punch, and here we have a caffeine free warming spiced chai with local hawthorns for cardiovascular system.
Ingredients:
Roasted Chicory (Cichorium intybus), not too much so not to over power
Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra),
Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum),
Cloves (Syzygium aromaticum),
Orange Peel (Citrus sinensis),
Coriander (Coriandrum sativum),
Ginger (Zingiber officinale),
Hawthorn Berries (Crataegus monogyna),
Star anise (Illicium verum),
Black Pepper (Piper nigrum). All organic.
Simmer or brew for a while for a lovely infusion by itself or add milk.
